An Indezine reader asked me if he could create three circles next to each other, and make sure that they looked like this: The first circle should be filled-in full (entirely), the second circle should be half full, and the third and last circle should have no fill (empty). The first and third circles are easy -- all you need to do is ensure that the first circle has both an Outline and a Solid Fill, and that the third circle has only an outline and No Fill. The second circle (half circle) is an easy challenge that I'll teach you to create in this one page tutorial using PowerPoint 2010.

In previous tutorials, you have learned how PowerPoint provides a collection of ready-made shapes that you can easily insert with a click or two. You can go ahead and add multiple shapes on the same slide and then flip, rotate, reorder, or group them as required to create your own combined diagrams and designs within PowerPoint. These combined shapes help create more involved diagrams such as a target -- in this tutorial I'll show you how simple it is to create a target by placing circles of various sizes one on top of the other using the techniques of formatting shapes already explained.

St. Patrick's Day Shamrocks for PowerPoint are ready to use clip-art style symbols that you can use within your presentation slides. Although the shamrock symbols youdownload from this page are green in color, they can be recolored using PowerPoint's native options for fills, lines, and effects. These shamrock symbols are contained within a sample presentation you can download. Just copy the shamrock symbol you like and paste into another PowerPoint slide, or even a Word document or Excel worksheet.
