Hearts typically have super-smooth edges but in today’s world, you need more options. So we decided to create Pixel Art versions of Heart shapes! You get four variations. These Heart shapes are already placed within slides and are available in both black and white. Do remember though that they can be recolored using PowerPoint's native options for fills, lines, and effects. Just copy the Heart shape you like and paste into another PowerPoint slide, or even a Word document or Excel worksheet.

Yes, you can link to a Word document from a PowerPoint slide object. We have already explained this process in an earlier tutorial. However, that process only links to the Word document. Most of the time, this will open the Word document with the first-page active. However, what if you wanted to link to page 33 of a 50 page Word document? This is doable, but it must be one of the least well-known secrets ever known!

In PowerPoint, a placeholder is a container that you can use to fill in with some content. When you launch PowerPoint, you will see distinctive boxes that invite you to add some content -- haven't you noticed the "Click to add title" suggestions? All these boxes are placeholders. Each of the default layouts comprises a collection of various placeholders -- if none of the available layouts work for you, you can create your own layout with custom placeholders in PowerPoint 2016.

Although you can link from one presentation to another in PowerPoint, you can essentially use the same concept to link to any other file! You can link to PDFs, Word documents, Excel sheets, video files, and anything else. The link will then open in the associated program. For example, a PDF will typically open in Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Reader. Word files will open in Microsoft Word. Of course, this depends on whether you have a suitable program installed on your system!

We have explored several hyperlinking tutorials in PowerPoint 2013. However, what happens when you hover any of these hyperlinks before you actually click the anchor? Typically PowerPoint just uses something for the Screen Tip (screen tip) when you hover over a hyperlinked slide object. PowerPoint defaults to showing the path to your hyperlink. This can work most of the time, especially if you are presenting and you know what you must click. However, if you need to distribute your slides, it looks more professional if you have a proper screen tip added to your hyperlink.

What if you have shared your Sway with several people, and now for some reason, you want to stop sharing the Sway with some or all Authors. If you are the original owner of a Sway, it is easy to revoke all edit and view links to your Sway. However, do remember that Sway makes it an all or none option. You cannot selectively revoke share options for a Sway. You will, therefore, have to remove all Authors and then individually add the ones you want to be retained!

In our Sharing Dubsmash Videos tutorial, we showed how you can export your Dubsmash videos on iOS devices to your Photos folder. In this tutorial, you will learn how you can insert these videos within your PowerPoint slides. Do note that this tutorial will look at using Dubsmash videos in PowerPoint for iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads. If you want to use Dubsmash videos in other PowerPoint versions, you will have to forward such videos to yourself as an email attachment – and then insert within PowerPoint as a regular video clip.
