PowerPoint Online may be only a web app that runs in your browser, but that hasn't stopped Microsoft from making it so full-featured that it includes almost all interface elements typically found in desktop programs, including a Status bar! Let us explore both the Status Bar as a whole and individual options within this Status Bar.
The Status Bar is a thin strip located at the bottom of the PowerPoint Online interface as shown highlighted in red within Figure 1. This area provides information about the active slide, and also provides several View options.

Let's explore some components of the Status Bar within PowerPoint Online interface. Figure 2 marks these components so that we can refer to them in the explanations below:

This displays the active slide number, as well as the number of slides in the open presentation.
This displays the language specified.
Opens the Feedback window where you can give your opinions. You can either like or dislike something or even give suggestions.
This is a toggle button to open or close the Notes pane.
The View buttons are explained below from left to right, as shown highlighted in red within Figure 3, below.

Essentially there are three view buttons on the Status Bar:
Editing View: If you are in Reading view, click the Editing View button on the Status bar to switch to Editing View. This is the same as Normal View in desktop versions of PowerPoint.
Reading View: Click this button to switch to Reading View. Learn more in our Reading View in PowerPoint Online tutorial.
Slide Show: Show the presentation as a full screen slide show from the current selected slide. Learn more in our Slide Show View in PowerPoint Online tutorial.
Click here to bring up the Zoom to dialog box as shown in Figure 4. Here you can choose the required zoom level.

Click this button to fit the slide in the available Slide Area.
