Your Entire Business Should Present Like its CEO

The oldest and most effective way to get your point across is through a story. For thousands of years, people across all cultures and religions have used storytelling as a means to educate society. Stories have emotion and empathetic characters which is why they not only resonate but are also memorable. The key word here is, of course, “memorable.” There is no place where being memorable is more crucial to your success and growth as it is in the workplace. Whether you’re working on a new client pitch, presenting a new strategy to your coworkers, or conveying the next great idea for your company, you should know what it takes to be truly memorable.

How to Make Your Networking Purposeful and Effective

Have you ever been at a networking event and felt as if you were in the middle of a busy fish market? In the melee, people are scurry around waving shiny business cards like bait at the end of hook. What Do I Do With My Hands?

What Do I Do With My Hands?

Over the past three decades, the most frequently asked question I get is, “What do I do with my hands?” The answer is to use your hands to illustrate your words. But that seemingly simple instruction can lead to overkill if you attempt to choreograph gestures. Choreography makes presenters feel like performers and worse, overloads them, as if asking them to pat their heads and rub their tummies at the same time.
